R.I.P - Beautiful Faces of The Dana Air Crash

I was at home yesterday, babysitting the kids when I got the call from Ben, a friend.
A plane had crashed into my parent's neighborhood three bus stops away from our family home.
So saddening.
I give glory to God though because my baby brother was planning to come home from Abuja by Dana Air. He's changed his mind now and decided to go by road.

Since all over the net the news is no longer news, I don't need to talk about what happened. But I went round trying to find out who and who was on that ill fated plane. These pictures I came across drew tears to my eyes...such promising faces...lives cut short by the tragedy...generations wiped out in an instant...

May we never see such again. Here they are...

  19. This is such a sad and pathetic case. You don't even really need to know those whose lives were lost for tears to leave your eyes, all those wonderful people with promising futures, parents dying with their kids, u don't want to even imagine the parents and children clutching onto each other before the crash. May God receive their souls and may we the living shun pride and remember that life is too short to hate on one another. My condolences go out to the families of this ill fated situation. Also to the family of Mr. Ibrahim Matankari who was also one of the passengers on board that flight. May God help us all.
